Placement of Event Catering Orders

It is a requirement that event catering orders be received by Bella Catering no later than three days prior to the scheduled catering event.

Weekend event catering: due Wednesday of that week by 12.00noon event catering orders placed after these times may incur a late booking fee of 10%


Last minute Event Catering Orders

Our team is available to assist you and, as a result, we will make every effort to provide catering for last minute events. So we can give you an accurate and fast response when you call, we will check with the kitchen for product, delivery and staffing availability and contact you back as soon as possible. To confirm any last minute events, a signed Event Catering Confirmation order is required by 12.00pm the day prior to the event day.

A charge of 10% of the order cost may apply to orders placed one working day before event or same day catering.


Final Numbers

The numbers for the event must be confirmed 1 week prior to the time of the event, but as soon as possible is appreciated.

We will accept an increase in numbers within 2 days of the event.


Event Management

Bella Catering will manage and accept responsibility of organizing and dealing with all other subcontractors, for example hire beverage equipment, decorations, staff, and other services that you may require for your event.

A charge of 10% will apply.

This fee will include the co-ordination of delivery and pick up for any external resources that you may require.

Payment conditions

Where a deposit is required, full payment must be made prior to the event date as specified in our correspondence with you.

We reserve the right to cancel your booking if this does not occur.

The balance of the payment must be made up to 14 days after the event date.

We accept EFT, direct deposit, cheques and cash payment.



If you decide to cancel or postpone a function, or think you might need to, please contact us as soon as possible.

When a function is cancelled more than 7 days before the event no charge is made.

When a function is cancelled 3 days before the event a 50% charge is incurred.

When a function is cancelled 1 day before or on the same day before an event the full charges still apply.


Internal Hire

Glassware, tablecloth and other bar items may be hired directly from us, the cost of hire will be added onto your bill and if any breakages incur the replacement charge added onto your invoice.



Menu tastings for an event can be arranged and held at the Bella Catering kitchen for up to 4 people.

If you decide to go ahead with Bella Catering for your event there is no charge for the menu tasting.

However if you decide against using Bella catering a nominal fee of $50 a head is charged to cover the food costs.
